# Assessment Categories

Users can create, view, and manage assessments in **Aware** by clicking on **Author** under **Assessments**.

Teachers who have no roles and rights can view and edit any **Standard** or **Rubric** assessments they create. They can also see any **Team Tests** to which they have been added.

Select **Levels** to filter assessments by the **Teacher** level or by certain **Team Test** levels.

School- and district-level users can view and edit Standard and Rubric assessments they create. The assessments will appear in one of two of the following levels based on rights:

- **School** - assessments created by users with the Campus Administrator role
- **District** - assessments created by users with the District Data Viewer role

District-level users can also manage **Student Inventories**.

District-level **Aware** managers can manage their local test types with added functionality. They are able to designate whether a test type is a School assessment or a District assessment. Additionally, they can add Team Tests, which can have their own test types.
