If you’re looking for a centralized, flexible way to manage your daily instruction, Forethought is the tool for you. Designed with educators in mind, Forethought makes standards-aligned lesson planning accessible and efficient.

Forethought is Eduphoria’s lesson planning module. It allows teachers to create, organize, and align lesson plans with district curriculum and state standards. Whether you’re building out an entire unit or adjusting tomorrow’s objective, Forethought gives you the structure and flexibility to support quality instruction. Using Forethought ensures that your lesson planning is consistent, aligned, and accessible.

## Key Features

- **Customizable Lesson Planners** - When you begin using Forethought, you gain access to a [Planner](/v1/docs/set-up-lesson-planner) for developing your own schedule, entries, courses, and lesson plans. Your planner can also include [planners shared with you](/v1/docs/sharing-and-unsharing-a-lesson-planner) by other teachers or grade-level or department planners.
- **Curriculum Management** - Curriculum leaders can manage [district curriculum maps](/v1/docs/manage-the-course-tree) and [learning standards](/v1/docs/manage-the-learning-standards).
