# Locking an Evaluation Document

Evaluation templates have options for more security in the evaluation process. Evaluators can lock the document so that only the evaluator and staff member can view its content.

> **Warning:** Evaluators only see the **View Locked** or **View Unlocked** buttons on their menu bar if the option is enabled for the template.

When you are ready to complete the evaluation form, click the **View Unlocked** button on the menu bar to lock the form.
