# Product Releases and Bug Fixes: January 12, 2026

## New and Improved

### Aware

- You can now [import iReady test files](/v1/docs/importing-iready-test-data) into Aware. Aware is compatible with iReady test files for English Reading and ELA, Spanish Reading, and Math.
- [Mastery trackers](/v1/docs/mastery-tracker-data-views#loading-and-refreshing-data) now require a manual refresh to update data. We’ve added a **Load New Data** button in the tracker to initiate the request. Upon pressing, the user receives a pop-up notification that their request is being processed. We have made this change to address data feed issues that could cause trackers to intermittently stop working.
- Test authors can now disable teacher access to [Enter Answers](/v1/docs/using-the-enter-answers-feature) from the [Administration tab of the test authoring interface](/v1/docs/test-administration-settings).

### Beacon

- You can now [print a prep](/v1/docs/printing-a-prep) from [**My Planner**](/v1/docs/planner) in Beacon. Printing a prep allows you to create a physical or PDF copy of your plans for the prep.
- The [**Delete Prep**](/v1/docs/deleting-a-prep) button is now located under the **Edit Prep**action in the prep header. This extra step helps prevent users from accidentally deleting preps.
- The new****[**Staff Search**](/v1/docs/staff-search)****feature allows users with the **Analyze Curriculum Courses** right to view and search all Beacon staff members at their school or district by school, name, or email address. You can select a name from the list to open the staff member’s planner.
- The new [**Shared with Me**](/v1/docs/shared-with-me) feature displays the names and email addresses of all Beacon staff members who have shared their planners with you. You can select a name from the list to open the shared planner.

### Management

- Districts that use Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) can [import built-in roles](/v1/docs/setting-user-roles-and-rights#importing-builtin-roles) for user accounts.
- When creating a user account using [Import Users](/v1/docs/importing-user-accounts) or SFTP, you can set up the account using either an email address or an external ID as a unique identifier. We have also simplified the user interface for importing users with a CSV file that also matches SFTP field requirements.
- When creating a new account using Import Users, you also have the option to check the box for **Send a Welcome Email to new user accounts**. This action sends the new user an email with a link, prompting them to create a new password within 24 hours.

### Strive

- We have updated the Framework Setup workflow with a new, intuitive interface for [creating and updating unlocked frameworks](/v1/docs/building-and-modifying-frameworks). You can now easily add domains and dimensions to the framework, and your work saves as you go.

### General

- While impersonating a user in Eduphoria, the **Management** application and the **Impersonate**button become inaccessible. You cannot perform management actions as another user.
- Beginning January 12, 2026, when you contact the **Eduphoria Support phone line**, the agent sends a one-time code to the email address associated with your Eduphoria account. You will need to verify this code before proceeding with account-specific support. This quick verification step provides an added layer of account security, helping us protect your data and grant peace of mind.

## Bug Fixes

### Aware

#### Assessments

- **We’ve updated how Text-to-Speech reads content clarifiers added to resources.** Teachers can have all instances of a content clarifier read aloud, rather than having the support only read the first instance.

#### LockDown Browser

- **Refreshing the browser no longer results in an error that kicks students out and allows them to open tabs.** Instead, students are kept within LockDown Browser on a refresh.
- **We’ve fixed a calculator issue when it is used within LockDown Browser.** The calculator should no longer get stuck if a user drags it to the top of the screen.
- **We’ve mitigated the risk of students bypassing LockDown Browser on Chromebooks using a specific test URL and testing outside of the secured environment.**A warning now appears requiring the test to be completed in full-screen mode in LockDown Browser.
- **Attempts to leave an active test in LockDown Browser using a four-finger swipe or a similar method result in the test being forcibly submitted.**Before submission, students can see a warning message that an attempt to leave the browser was detected, which isn’t permitted. Automatically submitting the test eliminates cheating attempts, which teachers can then review and take appropriate action.

#### Online Testing

- **If students have a save pending for their constructed response answers, the Review & Score button remains grayed out.**This prevents students from submitting their tests prematurely before the final answers are saved and committed.
