# Security Settings

Security Settings allows you to create custom roles, analyze roles and rights assignments, and manage user access through integrations and single sign-on.

To access **Security Settings**, select the gear icon in the **Security** section.

Then, select an option from the drop-down menu. Options include:

- **Create Custom Role** – Create and assign rights to new roles.
- **Roles and Rights Reports** – Generate reports to assess roles and rights assignments by application.
- **Directory Services and Student Single Sign-On** – Enable integration with Active Directory, set up remote authentication, and manage single sign-on.
