# Troubleshooting Failed Items

Items that do not follow the QTI specifications, or follow a custom formatting in the XML code, are not supported. If you are not sure what specifications the items follow, you can contact the vendor that provided the items to find additional information.

## Reviewing Failed Items

Any items that fail the import process are identified in the **Import Log**. Follow the steps below to view items that failed to import.

1. On the **Custom Item Banks** screen, locate the bank you want to view.
2. Select the ellipsis icon in the **Actions**column.
3. From the drop-down menu, choose **Manage Imports**.
4. Select the**Import ID** of the import you want to review.
5. You can then select the **Failed Items**counter or filter the table by **Status** to review all items that failed to import.

You can download the error log for an import, so it can be reviewed or shared. Due to the amount of variability that each QTI package could potentially have, it is not possible for Eduphoria to make modifications to support individual items that fail to import.

Please note that some item types, such as polygonal hot spot shapes, can be rendered by our software, but cannot be edited in Eduphoria.

## Supported Item Interactions

The table below provides a list of item types, including a description of each interaction and whether the item type is supported. If items that are not supported are included in the QTI package, you will need to work with the vendor that provided the QTI package to make edits to the file. Export the **Import Log** to provide the vendor with additional details if needed. While we support QTI 2.x, there are limitations to any question authoring system.
