Eduphoria’s Recommended Scanners

Recommended Scanners are compliant with Aware Plain Paper Scanning and eligible for technical troubleshooting and support. Recommended scanners are updated to include newly released scanner models that meet Aware Plain Paper Scanning reliability standards of 99.9% accuracy and are at a competitive price point.

Below are the currently recommended scanners for Aware Plain Paper Scanning:

  • Brother: ADS4700W, ADS4900W, ADS4300N

  • Fujitsu: fi-8170, fi-8190

Eduphoria’s Supported Scanners

Supported Scanners are compliant with Aware Plain Paper Scanning and eligible for technical troubleshooting and support.

Currently supported scanners include the following:

  • Brother: ADS2400N, ADS3000N, ADS3600W, ADS4700W, DCP5500DN, DCP5600DN

  • Fujitsu: fi-7160, fi-7180

Scanners Ineligible for Support

The following previously supported models are compliant with Aware Plain Paper Scanning. However, they are no longer eligible for technical troubleshooting and support.

  • Brother: MFCL5850DW, MFC L6900DW, DCP7020, DCP7065DN, DCP8150DN, DCPL2540DW, DCPL5650DN, PDS6000

  • Fujitsu: fi-6670

  • Scantron model scanners

Removing the Unsupported Scanners Pop-Up Error

Follow these steps to remove the Unsupported Scanners pop-up error for the entire district.

Step 1: Log in to Eduphoria as a Systems Administrator.

Step 2: Select Aware.

Step 3: Click the Analyze tab and select Configuration Options.

Step 4: Choose the Testing tab.

Step 5: Select Update Scanner Profiles, which will remove the pop-up error for the district.
