- Multi-Test Analysis (MTA) has been released. MTA assists district data analysts, district assessment directors, school leaders, and teachers in quickly comparing multiple assessments across test types.
- Looking for a way to engage students in post-assessment self-monitoring? Reflection is here. Test authors can assign students reflection activities with multiple choice, open-ended, or both question types. Find out how to create a Reflection and get your questions answered in the Reflection FAQs article.
- The Eduphoria LockDown Browser Chrome Extension for Chromebooks is a newer, more secure way for students to complete testing. The Eduphoria LockDown Browser for Chromebooks app that operates in kiosk mode will not receive patches or updates beyond May 2024. To avoid future issues, all districts should install the Chrome extension as soon as possible.
- Multiple selection questions allow a maximum of 25 answer choices in the author space. The limit helps ensure a smooth experience for student users taking assessments with the multiple selection item type.
- Experience the updated search filter for Item Banks! The Item Banks side pane filters have been updated with a modern filter bar at the top of the screen to create a cohesive user experience.
- STAAR and TELPAS Importers have been updated for 2024. Eduphoria now supports the released 2024 STAAR and TELPAS files including grades 3-8, all EOCs, and the new Alt versions. These are the formal files, not the Early CSV files. We will support the STAAR Early CSV files when they become available.
- Eduphoria has included the new Science and Social Studies TEKS going into effect in the 2024-25 school year in affected areas for Forethought, Aware, and Strive. The new standards are associated with the appropriate Forethought course tree curriculum courses. Aware users can see both the current and new sets of standards. All historical data tied to the current standards will remain available. The new standards do not impact data analysis for current and past tests. The impacted Student Growth Goals in Strive can link to the current or new standards.
- Teachers, rejoice! We’ve updated the Constructed Response Report. Pick a test like you would in Quick Views, limited to those containing constructed response questions. Filter the data between class periods, for specific scores, by questions, and more. Print a consolidated report as a single document or as individualized reports with page breaks between each student’s response.
- Check out the new calendar to search the Course Catalog! Open the Date and Time Period drop-down menu and select the radio buttons to search for courses by All Courses, Evenings, and Weekends.
Aware
Analyze Data View
- Imported interim files will now distinguish between Accommodated and Non-Accommodated. They will likewise display the appropriate TEKS. You may need to reimport the data.
- We’ve fixed an instance where users received an error stating that the data view could not be rendered. Users can now view test data for a teacher test and filter by course.
- When users export a data view to Excel, it will match the data view in Aware. No more attempts needed to connect the dots.
Assessments
- We resolved an issue preventing users from receiving the rescored assessment email notification. No one likes to constantly refresh their inbox.
Item Banks
- Resetting default security for item banks now works as intended. We’ve also added a loading bar when users select Reset Security Settings. Once the setting is complete, the loading bar will disappear.
Student Online Testing
- Students will no longer receive the "Value cannot be null or empty" error message. This message occurred when students logged in with Lockdown Browser using a Chromebook and Classlink SSO.
- We’ve fixed the calculator so its top bar won’t be moveable off the testing window. Students can continue to move or close the calculator without losing track of it or needing to reopen the test.
Student Portfolio
- Student Portfolios created from a Student Access List will now display data for the selected assessment milestones. We love reaching new heights as much as anyone.
Student Profile
- We’ve corrected an issue where students in Management were not searchable in Aware. Remember to filter students as Inactive under Enrollment if they are no longer with your district.
Upload Test File
- The percent score column will now display appropriately for custom-imported assessments. That’s 100% cool with us.
- Users can import valid TFAR and TTAP files successfully. We resolved an issue with unexpected subject coding. However, you can expect you’ll need to reupload your file if you encountered a problem recently.
Strive
Evaluation Process
- We’ve re-added the box expand feature for Strive evaluation documents. Only read four lines at a time? Nay! Who can work under these conditions?
