Updated STAAR Fields in Quick Views

We have updated our STAAR importers to reflect a data field change we made for Campus and District Accountability. 

The District Accountability field is now the District Snapshot/Testing Enrollment field, and the Campus Accountability field is now the Campus Snapshot/Testing Enrollment field. 

In previous years, STAAR data files included necessary TELPAS information related to state accountability. We used that information to populate these fields for student record accountability inclusion. 

In 2024, STAAR data files no longer include the TELPAS data required for users to consider them as accountability inclusion fields. As a result, we cannot accurately call them “accountability inclusion” fields. 

The new names reflect what they determine more accurately. The Campus Snapshot/Testing Enrollment field is populated as a “Yes” for student records where their Fall enrollment County, District, Campus (CDC) number matches their testing enrollment CDC number in the data file. The District Snapshot/Testing Enrollment field similarly matches for district enrollment.

Users who can view data in Quick Views will see the District Snapshot/Testing Enrollment and Campus Snapshot/Testing Enrollment fields available for every STAAR administration. Locate them by opening a Quick View and selecting Edit, then Columns, and then Administration Information.
