- The Print Local Assessment right has been renamed the Administer Local Assessment right. The new designation better describes its usage and the access it provides within Aware. For more information, see Roles and Rights.
- District- and school-level users with the Administer Local Assessments right can administer assessments using the Proctor Panel, an Aware Premium feature.
- The Performance Summary tab in Single Test Analysis now allows teachers to build a curated student list based on performance data. Teachers can then create a monitor group that includes the students in the student list table. This allows for improved tracking and analysis of student growth.
- The new Test Analytics tab in Single Test Analysis offers statistical analysis metrics on an assessment, providing users with more insight into its validity and reliability. This information can be especially helpful for evaluating tests used for student growth measures. To learn more about these calculations, see Test Analytics Calculations.
- The 2024 annual update for the At-Risk 110% Exit Criteria Report is now complete.
- We have updated our file importers to support WIDA ACCESS files and NM-ASR, NM-MSSA, and iMSSA files from the New Mexico Public Education Department (PED). For more information, review our Supported File Types article.
- Custom Roles are available to all districts. Learn how to enable custom roles to meet your district’s needs.
- The highlighter feature works for questions and answers on interactive item types. However, users cannot highlight math equations using the equation editor or pre-formatted instructions.

In addition to the Manage Appraisal Settings right for district-level users, two new rights have been added that allow users to access Manage Student Growth: Appraise Staff and View Appraisal.
- District-level users with the Manage Appraisal Settings right can manage student growth.
- School-level users with the Appraise Staff right and View Appraisal right can manage student growth.
- Limited appraisers with the Appraise Staff right can manage student growth only for teachers they formally appraise.
Aware
Administer
- We’ve resolved an API error occurring on the Enter Answers page. Teachers can access their students’ constructed response answers for grading.
- Copying a Team Test will now only copy as a Teacher Test, not as a campus or district assessment. Users can then share the copied Teacher Test with their teams.
Assessments
- When a district administrator copies a test, the system won’t select campuses. The test author can then select the appropriate campuses similar to creating a test from scratch. Now, that’s a real load-off.
- We’ve fixed an error related to adding a resource to a test. Users can add items to the test independent of the resource and add additional resources without producing the error.
- Team members can access Team Tests normally. Users on teacher teams should no longer see an error code when attempting to view or edit their Team Tests.
- Hot Spot items are functioning correctly. Users may need to rebuild their questions for the hot spot element to work as intended with images.

- Standards appear normally on the Standards Report. No more seeing double or missing standards.
Student Forms
- We’ve resolved an issue giving teachers access to previous students from student form update alerts. Notifications on the Eduphoria app home page should now grant the appropriate access to the right users.

- We have updated the SAT importer. Be sure to reimport your SAT files.

- Users selecting goals for approval now load normally. Users should no longer be stuck in a loading cycle or need to refresh the page.
