Students can choose to add notes associated with each online test question. Teachers have the ability to view student notes in the online test proctoring window while students are still testing.
When students select Add Note from the toolbar, the notepad option appears on the screen.
Students can either minimize the notes box or delete the note. Students have the option to add a note to each question. The notepad will display once the student clicks Add Note. The notepad supports up to 500 characters.
In the Question Guide, students can toggle on a button to review which questions have notes added to them.
Teachers can view the notepad while students take the test. Navigate to the Online Test Proctoring tab and select View Students to see notes while viewing the active test. The Notes icon will appear for students who have added notes to their questions.
Once teachers select the number icon below Notes, a pop-up allows them to view the student's notes.
This feature allows students to show their work through test questions. There is a short delay in the time when notes are visible to the teacher.
