Setting up Lock View for Appraisals

Lock View is an extra security measure in which only the appraiser and the appraisee can see an evaluation document. Lock View is recommended for all evaluations of administrators, school leaders, and anyone who evaluates others.

Turn on Lock View

Step 1: Click on the Appraisal gear in the navigation to access Appraisal Settings, then select Evaluation Templates.

Step 2: Select the desired template, then select the Template Options tab.

Step 3: Select Allow appraisers to lock the instrument so that only the appraiser, staff member being evaluated, and district viewers may view the evaluation content.

Note: When beginning the evaluation, the evaluator must click the Lock View button inside the document. Learn more at Locking an Evaluation Document.
