Users can create and manage data views within Aware's New Navigation or Classic Aware.
Navigating to Data Views Bank in Aware's New Navigation
Quick Guide
- Log in to Aware and select Data Views Bank.
- Users can filter assessments with the Data Views Bank drop-down menus or search for assessments by title in the search bar. View Type displays test type. Saved View Access displays saved data views. Quick View Access displays assessments saved as quick views.
- Users can click on an assessment Title to see the data views. Click on the Pencil icon to edit or delete assessment data. Click on the Star icon to favorite a data view. The layout of the data view is the same in Classic Aware.

Step 1: Log in to Aware and select Data Views Bank.
Step 2: Users can filter assessments with the Data Views Bank drop-down menus or search for assessments by title in the search bar. View Type allows users to select between saved or favorited types. Saved View Access displays saved data views. Quick View Access displays assessments saved as quick views.
Note: When comparing multiple assessments, the data view will work best with assessments of the same type due to having similar performance metrics. You can still compare assessments of different types, but the results generated may not be the most optimal and may need to be customized further.
Step 3: Users can click on an assessment Title to see the data views. Click on the Pencil icon to edit or delete assessment data. Click on the Star icon to favorite a data view. The layout of the data view is the same in Classic Aware.
Navigating to Data Views in Classic Aware
Quick Guide
- Log in to Classic Aware.
- Select the Analyze tab. Users with the Analyze Tests right can select Quick Views. Users with the Analyze Subject right can access all students within a specific subject. Users with the Analyze Grade Level right can access all students within a particular grade. Users who have rostered class periods or approved monitor lists can select All My Students, a specific Class Period, or Monitor Lists.
- Select the desired assessment by drilling down through the Test Type, Subject, Year, and Grade Level options.

Step 1: Log in to Classic Aware.
Step 2: Select the Analyze tab. Rights-based users such as district and campus administrators, department chairs, subject-specific instructional coaches, grade-level chairs, etc. will have access to different data views.
For instance, users with the Analyze Tests right can select Quick Views. Users with the Analyze Subject right can access all students within a specific subject. Users with the Analyze Grade Level right can access all students within a particular grade.
Users who have rostered class periods or approved monitor lists can select All My Students, a specific Class Period, or Monitor Lists.
Step 3: Select the desired assessment by drilling down through the Test Type, Subject, Year, and Grade Level options.
