# Adding Item Bank Questions to Aware Tests

When creating tests in Aware, teachers can [use item banks](/v1/docs/item-and-test-banks) for pre-made test questions or sections.

## **Adding From an Item Bank**

**Step 1:** To add an item from an item bank, click the **Add** icon to add a new question to the test. Choose a specific item type from the drop-down menu or click **Search Item Bank**.

**Step 2:** Select a tab at the top of the screen to view individual **Questions** or **Resources** that include multiple questions.

**Step 3:** If necessary, you can use the **Standard Set** drop-down menu to change which standard set to view assessment items for. Then, choose the individual standards you want the items to address or select **All Standards** to view all items related to the standard set.

**Step 4: After selecting your standards, use the Choose Item Bank** drop-down menu to specify which item bank you want to view. Then, the item bank appears.

**Step 5:** Add questions or resources to your **Question Cart** by clicking **Add Question.**

**Step 6:** Click **Add to Test** to finalize the process.

> [!NOTE]
> **Note:** Use the **Select All Standards** option if you plan to search for complete unit tests or released STAAR assessments.

Questions are added to the test in the order they are appear in the cart. To change the order in which questions appear on the test, click the up and down arrows next to each question. To delete a question, select the **Delete** icon.

## **Reporting a Bank Item**

Select the **Report** button to report an item for errors or incorrect content.

Select the issue type from the **Issue to Report** drop-down men. Then, write a short message describing the error in the **Details** field. Select **Submit** to create a ticket for Eduphoria’s support team.

In addition to reaching Eduphoria’s support team, reports for **TEKSbank** and **TEKSready** items are also sent to Region 10's support ticketing system at datasolutions@region10.org. Reports for TEKS Resource System items are also sent to Region 13's support ticketing system at TCMPC.support@esc13.txed.net.

## **Filtering Resources**

Choose from the available filters to sort question results. Use multiple filters together to customize content.
