The Remote Roster Tool pulls roster-related data from your Student Information System (SIS) and securely transmits them to Eduphoria’s servers for processing. After the Remote Roster Tool sends the SIS data to Eduphoria’s hosted servers:
Eduphoria’s system decrypts and imports the roster files.
All information included in the import is updated in the system, including staff, students, courses, sections, terms, and roster entries.
Once that process finishes, Eduphoria automatically emails the Roster Import Summary to all users with the Roster Administrator role.
The Roster Import Summary helps administrators verify that roster data is up to date, catch import errors early, and ensure teachers and systems relying on current rosters, like Aware, are using accurate information.
The summary contains counts of added, modified, and deactivated records as well as confirmation that the import was successful or details about import failures or issues.

Records Deactivated | Number of records that were deactivated by the import. The system identifies a record as needing deactivation when an SIS ID exists in Eduphoria but does not exist in the imported data set. |
