Over time, forms will continue to collect data and form managers may request the data be cleaned out. An important step before clearing out form data is to make a backup by exporting the data to a spreadsheet.
Backing Up Form Data
Click Reports tab.
Click Form Analysis report.
Select the form from the list. You can even use the filter options on the left.
Click Print and select Export Summary to Excel.
This generates a summary of responses in the form in an Excel spreadsheet download.
Clearing the Data in the Form
Select the form.
Click the Settings tab.
Click the Erase All Document Responses button.
Warning: Cleared responses cannot be recovered. To save all data previously collected by the form, follow the steps for backing up form data listed above.
