The Impersonate feature in Eduphoria allows users with the Impersonate Users right to log in as another user for the purpose of troubleshooting. For example, a school or district’s technical support specialist who has been assigned this right can see issues in another user’s account from that user’s point of view.
To improve the security and function of this feature, the following restrictions have been put in place:
You cannot access Management while impersonating another user. If you are impersonating someone, the Management application becomes unavailable on the Applications home page and in the Switch Applications menu. To access Management, log out of the impersonated account.
You cannot access Impersonate while impersonating another user. If you are impersonating someone, the Impersonate button becomes unavailable on the Applications home page. This policy aims to prevent confusion and ensure clear management of user roles. Log out of the account you are currently impersonating to regain access to this feature.
These updates enhance security and simplify user management. To learn more about impersonating users, see Impersonating Users Across Eduphoria Applications.
