Goals help align professional learning (PL) sessions with district, school, or personal learning objectives, ensuring that workshops contribute to broader priorities and strategic plans. In Workshop Settings, administrators can set up goals documents to be used district-wide or by a specific school. These goals documents can then be linked to workshops during the workshop creation process.
Note: The goals on this screen are the school or district goals addressed by professional learning workshops. They are not related to the Professional Goals or Student Growth Goals created by teachers during the evaluation process.

Publishing and Unpublishing Goals Documents
After creating a goals document, you must publish it to make it available for use in workshops.
To publish a goals document, select the goals document you want to publish from the Goals Documents list and then select the Publish button above the Goals Document details.
To unpublish a goals document, select the goals document you want to unpublish from the Goals Documents list and then select the Unpublish button above the Goals Document details.
Archiving a Goals Document
Archiving a goals document helps maintain an organized and up-to-date system while preserving past data for reference. For example, you might archive all goals documents from the previous school year before adding goals documents for the new school year. Archived goals documents cannot be edited or assigned to new workshops but can still be referenced in reports.
To archive a goals document, select the goals document you want to archive from the Goals Documents list and then select the Archive button above the Goals Document details.
Deleting a Goals Document
You can delete a goals document if one was created by mistake or as a duplicate of an existing goals document.
Caution: Deleted goals documents cannot be retrieved. All related data is removed from the system. If your district needs to reference any information from the goals document, consider archiving it instead.
To delete a goals document, select the goals document you want to delete from the Goals Documents list and then select the Delete button above the Goals Document details.
