Profiles provide a centralized view of all the data, documentation, and history for a given student, including supports, forms, test scores, and much more.
Accessing Profiles
To access your student portfolios, select Profiles from the Students section of the main menu.
Note: The View Student Tests right is needed to access this screen. If you do not see this option in the main menu, contact your IT team or your Eduphoria system administrator to find out if your account has been granted the necessary permissions.
Columns in the Profiles Table
The table displays the following information for each profile:
Name - Name of the student (Last Name, First Name).
ID - Student identification number.
Grade - Which grade the student is currently in.
School - School the student attends.
Teachers - Lists the teacher(s) whose classes the student attends.
Courses - Lists the course(s) the student is taking.
Enrollment - Shows whether the student is actively enrolled in courses.
Programs - Shows any Student Codes applied to the profile, such as At-Risk, Title 1, etc.
Monitor Groups - Lists any monitor groups that include the student.
Forms - Lists any forms assigned to the student.
Race/Ethnicity - Displays demographics information, if available.
Clicking anywhere in the row opens the student's profile.
Filtering the Profiles Table
All of the students to whom you have been granted access appear in the Profiles table. Scroll through the list or use any of the available filters to find a particular student. If not all of the filters appear, select the More button to show more filters. Likewise, you can select Less to collapse the filters. Choose Reset Filters to clear any filters that you previously selected.
Table Customization Options
If a column is not pinned to its location, you can click and drag the column headers to change the order in which they appear in the table.
Selecting the three vertical dots (
) beside a column header opens the sorting options for the column.Options include:
Sort by ASC - Arranges the column in ascending alphabetical or numerical order based on the values in the column. When selected, the Unsort option appears, allowing you to return to the default sort order.
Sort by DESC - Arranges the column in descending alphabetical or numerical order based on the values in the column. When selected, the Unsort option appears, allowing you to return to the default sort order.
Pin to left - Fixes the column to the left side of the table. When selected, the Unpin option appears, allowing you to move the column back to its original place in the table.
Pin to right - Fixes the column to the right side of the table. When selected, the Unpin option appears, allowing you to move the column back to its original place in the table.
Filter - Opens a window where you can create a custom filter to apply to the table. Only some columns offer this option.
Hide Column - Removes the column from the table. Hidden column can be restored using Manage Columns.
Manage Columns - Select the checkboxes for columns you want to show in the table or clear checkboxes to hide columns.
Tabs in Profiles
Each student profile is comprised of several tabs that show different types of information. To learn more about working with each tab, see Student Profile.
Tab | What it does |
---|---|
General | Shows the student’s class schedule, student codes, and any supports that have been enabled for the student. You can also update student supports or reset their password from this tab. |
Tests and Scores | Displays a comprehensive history and analysis of the student’s test scores. This data shows growth over time and/or areas where the student might be struggling. Select assessments or scores to drill down further into the data. |
Forms | Lists all of the forms that have been assigned to the student. If your user rights allow, you can edit, archive, or delete forms from this tab. |
Journal | Shows notes or actions that have been logged for the student, such as parent contact, discipline referrals, rewards, and so on. Depending on your user rights, you might see only your own entries or all entries. |
Items | Lists assets that are checked out to the student in Facilities&Events, such as laptops, tablets, or accessibility items. |
Portfolios | Provides direct access to the student’s portfolios. You can view each portfolio’s milestones, comments, and scores to measure growth over time. |
Mastery | If your district uses Mastery Trackers, this tab shows the student’s mastery data for all trackers they are associated with. |
