Strategies

Prev Next

A strategy is a custom tag that district users and curriculum owners can create for teachers and other curriculum-based users to apply to lessons and preps. For example, a teacher might tag a lesson with a strategy to indicate that they applied certain accommodations, instructional strategies, or technology.

Beacon organizes strategies into color-coded categories to better assist users in finding and applying certain types of strategies or to quickly identify lessons by the strategies with which they are tagged. For example, a “Technology” category might include strategies such as “online course,” “app game,” or “electronic whiteboard.”

Note: Only users with the Create District Curriculum Courses right can manage strategies.
