June 10, 2025: LockDown Browser on Chromebook security issue
Status: Fix released. A Chromebook upgrade to ChromeOS 137 is needed.
June 4, 2025 update
This issue was identified and fixed by Google. The fix is planned to appear in the next beta release of ChromeOS 137 (available later this week) and in the stable release of ChromeOS 137 scheduled for June 10, 2025. If a minor update to ChromeOS 136 occurs before June 10th (increasingly unlikely), the fix will be available there too.

Our Partners at Respondus have been made aware that ChromeOS 136 introduced new features that undermine the security of LockDown Browser on Chromebooks.

Remote Authentication Tool
A DLL file in the Eduphoria Remote Authentication tool may be flagged by antivirus software. Our team has confirmed there are no vulnerabilities found. If you receive the error, set your antivirus software to ignore the file. See here for details.
