Who can be on a teacher team?
Any user can be invited to join a teacher team. However, at this time, there is no reason for anyone besides a teacher to be on a team in Aware or Forethought. School and district administrators have roles and rights set up that give them more appropriate functionality than being on a teacher team would add in most cases.
How do Teacher Teams in Aware work for teachers who do not have student rosters imported from our Student Information System?
At this time, teachers without rosters can access and co-author team tests in their Aware Assessments tab if they are on a teacher team. Otherwise, teachers and other non-rostered personnel can create a student access list and have someone with the Approve Student Access Lists right—preferably a school-level administrator—approve the list, allowing them to analyze the data.
Can teams include teachers from multiple schools?
Yes! There are no limits on who can be invited to join a team. Eduphoria encourages teachers in professional learning communities across schools to create teacher teams in Aware that include as many teachers as needed.
Can teachers on a team view individual student data for students they do not teach?
No. Eduphoria is dedicated to ensuring that teachers can only view data at the individual student level when they have a legitimate educational interest. This is determined by the nightly roster import and the approval process required for student access lists.
Can teachers on a team view summary data for other teachers’ classes?
Districts can set default Configuration Options that allow or disallow teachers to view summary data of other teachers' classes. Viewing data as a team does not currently override this option.
What happens to a teacher test once I have shared it with a team?
Sharing a teacher test with a team converts it into a team test. We encourage teachers who want to retain copies of their old teacher tests to use the Copy Existing Test option to create a duplicate teacher test.
Do students’ results from team tests follow them to new teachers and new school years?
Yes! Team tests are assigned a test type. As long as you configure that test type to allow teachers to analyze its tests and view it on the student profile, then future teachers with access to students can view prior team test data.
How does a teacher team in Aware relate to Forethought teams?
Aware and Forethought teams are the same team. When a Team Planner is created in Forethought, the teacher team can also create team tests in Aware. When a teacher team is created in Aware, that team can also be set up as a Team Planner in Forethought.
Can I share a district test with teachers?

If a teacher rescores a team test, are all team members notified?
All scores associated with the test are rescored, but only the teacher who requested the rescore receives an email notification indicating whether the rescore succeeded. For this reason, it is important to communicate clearly with your team before rescoring a test.
