New and Improved

Beacon

  • Preview curriculum components while working in your Planner. Clicking on a curriculum component in a plan or in the Curriculum Explorer opens a preview pane where you can review its content without leaving the page.

  • You can now copy plans in your Planner. Copying plans can help you save time, maintain consistency, and create different versions of plans where needed.

  • You can now move a plan from its current day to a blank instructional day in your Planner. This tool comes in handy when unforeseen circumstances, such as a fire drill or severe weather day, impact your schedule.

  • When adding a new plan to a prep in My Planner, you can choose whether to start from a saved Plan Template, a Blank Plan, or choose the More Templates… option to access more template options. The plan populates with the template’s content blocks, saving valuable time in structuring your plans.

  • Selecting a date in My Planner toggles between the Day and Week view, showing either plans for the selected date or for the week.

Management

  • With Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP), users can create, update, deactivate, and reactivate user accounts and perform student support imports. Be sure to review our SFTP file requirements before importing. (Spoiler alert: Updating users just got a whole lot easier.)

Bug Fixes

Aware

Administer

  • We’ve resolved an API error preventing teachers from scoring a test with certain Bluebonnet assessment content. Students can submit their tests successfully, and teachers can score students’ answers as expected.

Analyze/Data View

  • We’ve corrected an issue where Quick Views was not defaulting to the All My Students or Analyze Tests view. Users with the correct rights should see data populating correctly once they select Quick Views from the navigation pane.

  • When a user added a test without data to the progress profile, achievement levels wouldn’t display for any test. We’ve addressed the issue causing this, so that the graphs and achievement levels still display in Multi-Test Analysis, even if you add tests without data alongside tests with data.

Student Online Testing

  • Some dictionary words required students to refresh multiple times to produce a definition. Students should now receive results more reliably, rather than performing word searches that produce a No Results screen.
