Student growth scores measure academic achievement over time. Measurements of student progress can be included in Summative Evaluations to improve teacher growth. Districts can organize student growth information from a single location in Strive with Manage Student Growth.
Note: The Collect Student Growth Percentages feature is only available for Summative documents.
Scores can be found in the Goal Details Spreadsheet Export. Percentages also appear above each Student Growth Score in the Portfolio Snapshot.
Note: District Aware managers can customize the student growth rating labels attached to student growth ratings. For districts that manage student growth ratings with only two labels, Aware managers can customize labels such as Did Not Meet Growth, Met Growth, and N/A. Percentages can be entered in two increments of 100%. In these districts, Student Growth Rating may appear as 20% Does Not Meet Growth, 80% Met Growth, N/A 0%.
Add Student Growth Scores
Step 1: Select Import From Portfolio to import Student Growth Scores percentages directly from an attached portfolio.
Step 2: Select Include when percentages for each Student Growth Rating pre-populate. The fields can be edited after import.
Note: If any students have not been rated, percentages will be inaccurate until all students are scored or removed from the portfolio.
Step 3: To update scores, select Update from the Appraisal Information. Then, select Update in the pop-up window. Updated percentages display as Student Growth Scores.
