Guest Accounts are used in Facilities & Events and Strive to allow users outside your district to have limited access inside these applications. Guest accounts can be created in each application separately and are accessible to manage in System Management, Facilities & Events, and Strive.
Create and Manage Guest Users in System Management
- Select Manage Guests
- Select Create a New Guest
- Enter a first name, last name, email address, and create a guest password for their use
- Enter an organization (if using invoicing in Facilities & Events)
- Select Save
Selecting a Guest User's account in the Manage Guest list will allow you to make changes to their account and view assigned login and password information.
Guest Users in Strive
Guest accounts in Strive can be used to provide access to an outside Instructor to manage a course or to invite attendees from outside your district to register and receive certificates for training provided.
- In Strive, select Settings, Workshop Settings
- Select Workshop Setup
- Select Guests
- Select Add Guest
- Enter a first name, last name, email address and create a guest password for the user
- Select Save
To add a Guest User as an Instructor in Strive:
- In Workshop, select the Manage tab
- Select Workshop Setup
- Select Instructors
- Select Add Instructor
- Select Guest Instructor
- Select Next
- Select the added guest and select Next
- Select Finish
Create a Guest User Account in Facilities&Events
- In Facilities&Events, select the Manage tab
- Under Users & Guests, select Manage Guests
- Select Add a Guest
- Enter first name, last name, email address and assign a password
- Select organization - only if using invoicing in Facilities & Events
- Select Save
Approval of Guests in Facilities&Events
A setting in Facilities&Events requires activation to allow users from outside the district to access Guest Reservations.
- In Facilities & Events, select the Manage tab
- Select General Options
- At the bottom of the page, click to enable "Guests must be approved before reservations are allowed"
- Post the link on a site to enable access for guest users to login and access specific locations available for reservation.

Once the setting is in place and guests are accessing the site for guest approval:
- In Facilities&Events, select the Manage tab
- Select Manage Guests
- Select Guests Needing Approval
- Select Approve or Deny
Guests approved or denied will no longer show in the list waiting for approval.
