For Texas districts, users can track their professional learning portfolio for State Board of Educator Certification (SBEC) renewal. For provisional certificates requiring CPE hour renewals, Strive portfolios will allow you to track hours for each certification and print a report to submit for renewal.
Quick Guide: Add Certifications to Your Portfolio
- Select My Professional Learning.
- Select the Portfolio tab and then select My Portfolio.
- Select the Add New Certification button.
- Select the certification type from the list and select Next.
- Select the option for lifetime or provisional certification to help track your professional development hours and then select Next.
- Select the renewal month and year for this particular certification and select Next.
- Select the certification classification from the list and select Next.
- On the next screen, select Finish to complete the wizard and to have the new certification added to your Portfolio.
Note: If your certification type is not displaying in the list, contact your district Strive Administrator who can access settings to add your certification type.
Quick Guide: Print Your Certification Credits Report
- Select My Professional Learning.
- Select the Portfolio tab and then select My Portfolio.
- Select the Certification listed in your Portfolio History screen.
- Select the Print option from the top menu bar.
This Print option produces a PDF file including all certifications with CPE hours of completion.

Step 3: Select My Portfolio.

Note: This list is based on Texas SBEC classifications.
Once you have added a certification, you can select it in My Portfolio, Certifications. You can start viewing courses completed for receiving your CPE credits tied to the certification for renewal.
The menu bar includes options to Print, Delete Certification, and edit the Start and Renewal Dates.
