Adding goal evidence provides the basis for ongoing feedback between appraisers and appraisees as well as reflection and further development of appraisees. It is also helpful for identifying any additional or alternative actions that may be required to achieve or modify your goals.
Quick Guide
- Select My Evaluation Process to access your evaluation tasks.
- From the list of tasks (Observation, Walkthrough, Evaluation, etc.), select the drop-down arrow to open the container related to goal setting.
- Open a goal from your list of submitted Professional or Student Growth Goals.
- Select the Add Evidence button to access the evidence type options.
- Use the drop-down menu to select the type of evidence you want to upload. The text field below the evidence type allows you to enter a description and/or reflection about the evidence collected.
- When complete, select Create to attach the evidence to your goal.
- Add as many evidence artifacts as you need to show you are working toward goal attainment by selecting Add Evidence again.

Step 3: Open a goal from your list of submitted Professional or Student Growth Goals.
Step 4: Select the Add Evidence button to access the evidence type options.
Step 5: Use the drop-down menu to select the type of evidence you want to upload. You can choose from four types of evidence:
- Text
- File Upload
- Link
- Workshop Portfolio Entry
The text field below each evidence type allows you to enter a description and/or reflection about the evidence collected.
Text evidence can be copied and pasted from a document or used as a reflection component for you to submit artifacts or evidence supporting how you are working toward your goal.
File Upload evidence can be an image, PDF, document, audio file, or video file. Click the Choose File button and then Upload when ready to upload the file.
Note: The appraiser or appraisee will need to download an uploaded video file before they can view it. The maximum file size per attachment is 1 GB. Eduphoria strongly encourages appraisers and appraisees to upload video files to a streaming site such as Google Drive or Dropbox so that videos do not have to be downloaded to view. In this case, goal evidence can be attached as a link to the site instead.
Link evidence can be an external website, a shared collaborative file (ensure you have assigned the appraiser the right to view), an online chat, etc.
Workshop Portfolio Entry evidence can be items synced from any professional development or workshop courses you are undertaking that are tied to your goal statement. Select which Workshop Course the evidence applies to, and then include any information or reflections about the workshop and learning opportunities.
Step 6: When complete, select Create to attach the evidence to your goal.
Step 7: Add as many evidence artifacts as you need to show you are working toward goal attainment by selecting Add Evidence again.
