New and Improved

Aware

  • Axiom is live for the 2026 accountability season. To begin, view Getting Started With Axiom and the Axiom FAQ article. We also have steps to troubleshoot Axiom should you experience any data calculation issues.

  • You can now add content clarifiers to pictures. As you do with text, highlight the picture and then select Add New Clarifier.

  • Administrators now manage student supports, close a test, or reopen a test for students from the Proctor screen. This allows other users to better assist with test proctoring when the teacher is unavailable.

  • In previous versions of Mastery, Custom Item Banks, and Questions and Resources, you searched for items by course. This required users to expand the course tree. With this update, you can now search for the standard set using Subject and Grade Level filters as well as a Search bar that allows you to quickly look up specific standards or standard sets.

  • We have updated lead4ward’s Quintile Analysis Report to allow users to highlight students by STAAR performance level and demographic options before printing the report. Performance levels include default suggested cut scores based on 3-year STAAR averages, but users can customize each performance level when creating the report.

Strive

  • Users can harness a new form builder to add, edit, and delete informational and response items on evaluation process forms. Districts that have completed archiving and migrating their form data should review their migrated forms and make any necessary changes before the next school year.

  • Building processes in Strive has never been easier in Process Management. After setting the Start and End Date of the process, you can create the steps and tasks it requires within a more intuitive builder screen. Districts that have completed archiving and migrating their process data should review their migrated processes. Set Start and End Dates for processes you want to use for the next school year and delete processes you no longer want.

  • Evaluation managers who have configured their forms to enable electronic signatures allow logged-in users to sign without answering a security question.

Beacon

  • The course hub has a fresh look and feel! Check out the Year at a Glance view for a visual representation of the course schedule. This view displays units and assessment windows across a monthly breakdown of the instructional calendar. Switch over to the List view to see the schedule in the form of a table. This view is helpful for checking a short list of either Units or Assessments.

  • Users with the Create District Curriculum Courses right can enable planning for the next school year on the Instructional Calendar Management screen.

  • You can now schedule assessment windows in a course. An assessment window marks the date range in which teachers are expected to administer specific tests. Much like scheduling units, when you schedule assessment windows, all planners that are linked to the course display a bar below the date range, marking the assessment window and helping teachers plan more effectively.

  • Beacon’s date selector has a new look!

    • The date selector that appears when scheduling units or assessment windows displays units and assessment windows as color-coded bars below the scheduled date range.

    • The date selector that appears when configuring Scope and Sequence displays units and assessment windows as color-coded bars below the scheduled date range. Dates with teacher plans are outlined in blue dots, allowing you to easily see which dates already have plans scheduled.

Bug Fixes

Aware

Axiom

  • We have resolved an issue with Domain 3 calculations for growth percentages. Users might need to recalculate their data.

Data Analysis

  • The Item Response Analysis tab in Single Test Analysis now correctly displays answer distribution percentages with AI Scoring. Users will need to rescore to see updated percentages in this tab.

  • We have updated the file format for Wireless Generation Math data. Ensure your district has enabled auto-summarization for the Wireless Generation test type to see it in Quick Views.

LockDown Browser

  • We have addressed an issue that sometimes prevents spelling assistance from working in LockDown Browser. Students with the support enabled should see the red line under misspelled words on all devices, including iPads.

Reports

  • The Student Constructed Response report now shows AI scores for students, instead of marking them as unscored. Users will need to rescore to see the updated scores in the report.
