How do I get the right to select my Appriasees? I set myself to Principal in my profile, but I can’t access my Apparisees.
For security reasons, the staff appraisal right is a Management setting and is unavailable in profile settings. To access the appraise right, contact someone in your district who has access to the Management tool and can change the rights to appraise staff. Once they set the right, you can select your Appraisees. Learn more about Setting Up and Understanding Strive Roles and Rights.
How do I add new staff members to Strive?
To read step-by-step instructions for adding new staff members, see Creating User Accounts.
If the staff member is new to your district, they need to be added to the district Eduphoria account first. Some districts wait until certain contract start dates to add new users. Reach out to your district’s Eduphoria manager for more information. Learn more about Creating User Accounts.
Ensure new staff members complete their profile set up to appear in Campus View. District staff members transferring to a new campus must update their profiles to reflect the change. Learn more about Updating Your Profile.
How do I remove a staff member who is no longer at my campus?
Contact someone in your district who manages user accounts to find out when the staff member’s user account will reflect the change. Sometimes districts manage user accounts in their own system and wait until specific contract days to remove staff. Learn more about Deleting and Un-deleting User Accounts.
I have new staff members who cannot select dimensions when entering a new goal. None of their teacher dimensions show for them to select. How do I fix this?
Staff members not yet selected by an Appraiser and assigned an Appraisee type cannot connect their dimensions. The staff member’s Appraiser must select them and set their appraise type. This is done by each Appraiser at each campus. Learn more about Selecting Your Appraisees.
Can a staff member have more than one evaluator?
For someone with two or more evaluators, one evaluator must listed as the Formal Appraiser by selecting the employee in the Campus View. Other evaluators in the same department or campus can evaluate the staff member, but they are not listed as the Formal Appraiser. Other Appraisers must select the staff member’s name on the Campus View and select the New Evaluation (+) button to access the evaluation templates for that Appraisee type. Learn more in Creating an Evaluation Document.
Note: Some districts set limitations for what Assistant Principals/Limited Appraisers can access. This role may be limited to viewing and appraising only their formal Appraisees. However, the Campus Walkthrough Appraiser role can complete walkthroughs for all staff on the campus.
Why is the electronic signature button missing on an evaluation?
The electronic signature button only appears once an evaluation is completed and the staff member has viewed the evaluation. When both criteria are met, the electronic signature button will appear on an evaluation. Learn more about how to Enable Electronic Signatures.
There is an electronic signature button, but it is not allowing me to sign the document. What should I do?
To read the complete step-by-step guide, see Electronically Sign a Document.

I made a mistake on an evaluation document and need to fix it, but I already signed it. Can I unlock it and fix my mistake?
If one person signs an evaluation document, it is locked and cannot be edited. If an evaluation needs to be reopened for editing and the second person has not signed, clearing the signature unlocks the document. The person who signs the document first must clear their signature to reopen the evaluation. Only the signee can clear the signature. An Appraiser cannot clear a signature on behalf of an Appraisee and vice versa. Learn more about Clearing Your Electronic Signature.
After both parties have signed the document, the document becomes permanently locked and cannot be reopened for editing. You must recreate the document as a new document and delete the locked document. Learn more about Deleting or Removing a Locked Document.
How do I delete a locked evaluation?
Contact someone with the Strive Appraisal Administrator role in your district to delete and remove the evaluation document. Learn more about Deleting or Removing a Locked Document.
How can I determine how many Department or Campus documents remain unsigned?
You can run the Unsigned Documents Report in Strive. This report displays evaluation documents made viewable by the Appraiser but not electronically signed by one or both parties. Learn more about Running the Unsigned Documents Report.
How do I access Strive on my mobile device?
