I am a new principal this year but I don't have the ability to select my staff to evaluate. I changed my profile to Principal but it still won't let me do anything.
For security reasons, being able to appraise staff is a setting in the Management tool, not in the profile settings you manage. In order for you to get access to appraise staff, your district Eduphorian, who has access to our Management tool, will be the one to give you rights to appraise staff. Once they give you the rights to appraise staff, you will be able to select your appraisees.

I am looking in Strive and do not see our new staff members. How do I add them?
Consider these factors for New Staff members to your campus:
- If the staff member is new to your district, they may not have been added into your district Eduphoria account yet by your district Eduphorian. Reach out to whoever manages Eduphoria in your district to find out the timelines for when new users will be added. Some districts wait until certain contract start dates to add new users.
- If the staff member is new to your district and they have been added to your district Eduphorian account, make sure the new staff member has logged into Eduphoria and completed their profile setup. If a staff member has not completed their profile setup, they will not appear in Campus View for selection.
- If the staff member is transferring from a different campus in your district to your campus, make sure they update their own profile to reflect the change to your campus.

How do I remove a staff member who is no longer at my campus?
Your district Eduphorian who manages system-wide settings will take care of managing users and can make this switch happen. You should contact the person inside your district who manages accounts to find out when these changes will occur. Sometimes districts manage user accounts in their own system and wait until certain contract start days to add/remove staff.

I have new staff members who cannot select dimensions when they are entering a new goal. None of their teacher dimensions show for them to select. How do I fix this?
This is common for staff who have not been selected by an appraiser and assigned an appraisee type to connect to their dimensions. The appraiser for that staff member will need to go to that staff member and select them to be evaluated as the particular appraise type. This is done by each appraiser at each campus.

Can an employee have more than one evaluator?
In the case of two or more evaluators, the formal appraiser should be the one listed as the Formal Appraiser (by selecting the employee in the Campus View). Other evaluators in the same department or campus can evaluate this staff member, but will not be listed as the formal appraiser. The second appraiser will select the employee's name on the Campus View and select the New Evaluation (+) button to access the evaluation templates for that appraisee type.
Note: Some districts have set limitations for what Assistant Principals/Limited Appraisers can access and may be limited to only view and appraise the staff they have chosen to formally appraise. However, if you are assigned the Campus Walkthrough Appraiser role, you will be able to do walkthroughs on all staff at your campus

On an evaluation, the electronic signature button is missing. Why?
There are two criteria for a signature button: the employee needs to view it AND the appraiser needs to complete it. If you do not see the signature button and the employee has viewed it, you need to verify that the evaluation is complete.
There is an electronic signature button, but it is not allowing me to sign the document. What should I do?
If you are unable to sign an evaluation document, you need to log in to your account and reset your Profile security question and answer. Access your Profile from the main apps screen and go through the prompts to make sure all the information is correct. For the security question, select any question from the drop-down menu and type in your answer. Make sure to note capitalization and spaces as this has to be typed exactly in the security signature box. You should then be able to electronically sign using that question and response.

I made a mistake on an evaluation document and need to fix it, but I already signed it. Can I unlock it and fix my mistake?
If an evaluation document was signed by one party, it becomes locked against editing. However, if it needs to be reopened and the second party has not signed, then clearing the signature works to unlock the document. The party who signs the document first will need to clear his/her signature to reopen the document. Only the signee can clear their signature; the appraiser cannot clear a signature on behalf of the appraisee and vice versa. After both parties have signed the document, the document becomes permanently locked and cannot be reopened for editing.

How can I find out how many of my Department/Campus documents remain unsigned?
You can run the Unsigned Document report available in Strive > Appraisal Reports > Unsigned Documents Report. It is important to get documents signed (or indicate refusal to sign) before the archive at the end of the year.
